Kristy Ann Keck, LMT, is the original founder of A Mother's Touch Massage Therapy in 2000 which evolved into Maryland Licensed Massage Therapy in February of 2010.
She graduated from Baltimore School of Massage in 1996. She received her training in Pre-natal and Post pardum massage as well as Fertility Work through the ‘Nurturing the Mother’ program taught by Claire Miller out of
North Carolina . In 1997, Kristy received Doula training as well as her CIMI training. After a few years of focus on her growing family, she received specialized training for a technique called ‘Craniosacral Unwinding’ in 2004. CPR certified by the American Red Cross Foundation, she has been an AMTA member since 1997.
Her experience in serving the families of central Maryland started with working in an OB/GYN office in
Bowie. She spent over 3 years providing on-site seated massage to the employees of The Census Bureau and NSA. She receives frequent requests to speak about various topics including Pre-natal and infant massage, stress management, and relaxation techniques among others. In addition, she assisted in establishing Massage Therapy as an integral component of the Complimentary Medicine wing at the
Clarksville office of Contemporary Health for Women.
Kristy began to learn about and experience the many benefits of chiropractic care and in turn provided massage therapy services to the patients of Effective Chiropractic Health & Wellness Center. In spring of 2011, she expanded into MDLMT's new location in Millersville off Veteran's Highway.
As a mom of three and step-mom of two she has a deep understanding of a mother’s needs. While she continues to work with her "moms to be", she is constantly learning new, more effective methods to help you feel better. Now treating specific acute and chronic pain conditions, she enjoys helping people achieve relief and learn how to maintain it.
Kristy and her husband, Chuck, reside in
Millersville with their three children and three cats.
