Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage is used to reach the connective tissue (the deeper layer of muscles) under the superficial layer of fascia on the body to release chronic tension. Deep tissue massage uses higher pressure, slower strokes and concentrates on specific areas of the body in comparison to relaxation or Swedish massage. Learn More!

Body Contouring

Non-Surgical Body Contouring treatments are non-invasive procedures that destroy fat cells in a variety of different ways. All treatments aim to reduce or remove stubborn pockets of fat without surgery in different areas of the body -- such as the abdomen, buttocks, thighs, and upper arms. Traditional liposuction procedures differ from non-surgical body contouring, primarily because non-surgical fat removal treatments do not require incisions, stitches, anesthesia, or lengthy recovery times. Once the fat has been moved outside cells, the lipose is assimilated by the body and eventually removed via natural processes. Instead of being a weight-loss solution, body contouring treatments supplement lifestyle shifts, helping you along your self-love journey.

Hot Stone Massage

Like our Swedish massage, our hot stone massage is extremely relaxing but even more invigorating. Your massage therapist uses the hot stones to massage your body. The heat helps release tension in your back and shoulders so those muscles can be worked on more effectively. This type of massage is beneficial for more than just releasing tight muscles. Clients who book a hot stone massage at AMT Massage Therapy may notice better circulation, improved mood, and a general feeling of well-being. Over time, hot stone massage techniques may help relieve chronic aches and pains. It’s the ultimate way to rejuvenate your mind and body!

Post-Op Massage

Post-Op (Post-operative) massage includes a series of massage styles, that range from gentle to firmer techniques, to increase blood flow and promote recovery by targeting the lymphatic system. Massage plays an important role as a supplement to standard rehabilitation procedures after surgery. Clients that do not receive post-op massage treatments heal slower and usually have more complications. Post-op massages help clients heal faster, get rid of inflammation and post-op fluid quicker, and help mold the body to heal with a more natural look by breaking down scar tissue, manually detox the body while the lymphatic system heals, and improve circulation. By increasing circulation while relaxing the muscles, post-op massage helps the body pump more oxygen & nutrients into vital organs. Learn More!
